At St John Bosco School, our curriculum goals aim to educate children to face the challenges of today and tomorrow with hope and confidence.
In this our students are prepared for future success and productive lives. Our curriculum promotes the students as “whole people”, mind, body and spirit.
Within our curriculum every student is provided with the opportunity for becoming a life-long learner, developing the skills that help prepare them for daily life in a changing world and for the challenge and joy of knowing, achieving and creating.
Our school curriculum incorporates the eight key learning areas (KLAs) outlined by the Queensland Studies Authority.
- The Arts
- Studies of Society and Environment
- Health and Physical Education
- Languages Other Than English and Technology
- As a Catholic School we include a ninth KLA: Religion.
